Live from Black Rabbit Mead Company in Downtown Reno, this bonus episode is the first of a series in collaboration with the 4th Street Art Project.
On this week's episode, recorded live June 29, Conor welcomes Nick Rogers, the co-founder of the Bass Camp Music Festival, an electronic music festival held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe. Along with Bass Camp, the weekend also features a bluegrass festival and a reggae festival.
Conor and Nick discuss the music festival business, the challenges that come with working in a fun industry like music and nightlife, the musical influence of Burning Man on the Reno area, how Reno's growth has been reflected in our electronic music scene. We also take some audience questions!
Thank you so much for listening!
